Take a Chill Pill

Stop. Breathe. Think for a minute. You need to think! Yes, you really do need to relax. Our world is fast paced I get. We are so impatient that we do not take time to cook even our meals. Noodles, fast foods, jumping buses (Lagosians! I hail) are the order of the day. In fact, I just learnt that it is important to soak oats for a minimum of 8 hours before you cook to avoid bloating e.t.c. I was like…uhn…I thought it is supposed to be a fast food too. You need to see people at ATM points in some parts of the country. Some of us can't even stand a queue. The unfortunate part is that people don't even understand that being orderly is faster. The amount of time it takes to argue before a cashier is much more than that required to queue up. What about anxiety? We do not have to blame ourselves for being put in anxious positions but we should look for ways to keep our cool. We won't enjoy our lives by the minute if we keep getting overly anxious about everything. I know that it seems easier said than done. Yes...it seems like...oh...writers and their cluster of empty inspirational words. I do not condemn the fact that we don't have a bed of roses. I corroborate that situation but we could make do with what we have. Control situations and take charge; never allow life overthrow your stability. Worry, restlessness have little -all negative effects- in fact, nothing to do in our lives. Take a chill pill. Is that university admission seeming impossible? Relax. Are you worried about the future? Take a chill pill. Do you stress over work? Stop and breathe. Do this when you feel like the moment is too overwhelming to control:
